First and foremost, Jamie has been one of the rocks in my life. I’ve known her for over 10 years and to say this post is personal is an understatement. We met in college through a mutual friend (who’s also in the wedding party). She’s filled my life with joy, laughter, friendship and love. She’s been there in the highs, even more of a friend when the speed bumps came along. I’m blessed to have her in my life!
So, when she met Ryan, immediately, I grew to love him as much as her. He too had an insatiable laugh, contagious in it’s nature and loving at his heart. When she called to tell me they’d gone to New York for her birthday, had gone to Tavern on the Green for dinner and then a carriage ride through Central Park…I was elated to hear, “And then he proposed!” When she asked if I wanted to be a bridesmaid, or photograph the day…hard and tough decision. I haven’t attended a wedding as a guest in a great many years…no sense in starting now!
The wedding ceremony took place at Lake of the Isles Lutheran Church and a reception that followed at the Calhoun Beach Club. D’Amico catered and provided the unbelievably good chocolate cake! Guests were treated to music by friend of the groom John Samels. Guests were also asked to create a photographic guest-sign-in book using the photo booth provided by Party Booths.
The bride’s hair and makeup were provided by Stella Salon in Northeast. Both bride and groom had rings designed by Dolce Vita. The bride also added a special touches with a Sonya Renee necklace, purchased by the bride’s mother, a hair piece that was purchased by her hairdresser from an antique shop and a vintage broach of her grandmother’s, pinned to her bouquet. Mother of the bride used her creative energy to make the veil and the ring bearer’s pillow.
The amazing invitations, programs, etc. were all designed by the Groom and then printed at local printer, Studio On Fire, who recently blogged about Ryan’s designs.
So, thank you Jamie & Ryan for asking me to document your wedding day! It was a day filled with joy, laughter, love and most of all, your family and friends who love you dearly! I wish you nothing but happiness and love!

The sweetest ring bearer, pillow as a backpack and nephew to the bride!

Why do guys always take a millisecond to get ready?

As this moment occurred, tears were streaming down my face. It was the truest, loveliest, moment and I was included. I couldn’t help but feel so lucky.

Sister-in-law to the bride and mother of the sweetest ring bearer I’ve seen!

Another soon-to-be married couple! Congratulations!

And then all the sudden, there was singing…

…a song was sung, created especially for the bride and groom, by the choir the groom’s mother belongs to. It was so sweet!

Last frame of the night, the happy couple in the photo booth! That smile!
